Safer online shopping with the new SGPB Hambros Visa card
SGPB Hambros is joining the global Verified by Visa scheme. This will give you greater security and greater protection against fraud when shopping online.
You will be automatically asked to register your card when shopping at participating online stores. You will have three opportunities of cancelling registration for Verified by Visa and still make a purchase. After that you will not be able to make a purchase from a participating site without going through registration. Your personal password will protect you against fraud as you will be the only one who can authorise any purchase done with your card.
Internet shops that do not support Verified by Visa will work the same way as they do now. You will know you are shopping on a protected website when you are asked to register or enter your password. Also, the Verified by Visa logo is displayed on checkout pages and/or other places on the web site if the feature is supported.
