Roger Plummer and Ian Walker join from Coutts & Co to further boost SG Hambros’ regional private banking team

SG Hambros Bank Limited, part of SG Private Banking, is pleased to announce two key appointments to its UK regional private banking team. Ian Walker and Roger Plummer will be senior private bankers and will report to Eric Barnett, Managing Director of SG Hambros Bank Limited.


Roger Plummer joins the team from Coutts & Co, where he was a senior private banker. He previously held the position of senior private client manager at HSBC Trust Company based in Oxford.


Ian Walker also joins from Coutts & Co, where he was a senior financial planning specialist. Ian brings extensive experience in the field of private banking and investment management, having previously been a Director at UBS Wealth Management.


Roger Plummer and Ian Walker will contribute in developing SG Hambros’ regional presence covering an area from the Cotswolds through the Thames Valley, to the Northern Home Counties, including Oxford and Milton Keynes.
